Georgian judoka Beka Gviniashvili is 2013 and 2015 World Junior Champion and is the most successful junior athlete ever. He took bronze at the European Championships in Warsaw in 2017 U90kg and a bronze medal at the European Championships in Prague and silver in Lisbon in 2021. He had silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He captured gold at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2022. He claimed the victory at the Grand Prix in Zagreb and Grand Slam Abu Dhabi in 2022. Beka made the ippon of the year 2022. He captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv in 2023.
