French judoka Walide Khyar won the European title in 2016 in Kazan. He took European bronze in 2023 in Montpellier. He took bronze at the 2023 World Championships and bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2016. Khyar won the European Junior title in 2015 in Oberwart. He won bronze at the 2015 World Junior Championships in Abu Dhabi. He won the Grand Prix in Tunis in 2018. He took silver at the Grand Prix Tbilisi and Grand Slam Antalya 2021. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021. He clinched the gold medal at the European Open in Madrid in 2022.
