Kazach judoka Aelita Chsherbakova won bronze at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2016. She won the International tournament T. Zholdybayev Aktau in 2016. Aelita took silver at the Kazkh U23 Championships in 2015 and Asian Open in Aktau she captured a silver medal as well. She passed away in April 2019.
