Turkish heavyweight Ibrahim Tataroglu triumphed at the EYOF in Maribor in 2023 both inidividual and team event. He is the son of Selim Tataroglu, who was born in Russia of chechen origin. Zelim’s birth name was: Zelimkhan Magomadov. Ibrahim took a bronze medal at the Cadet World Team Championships Sarajevo at the team event. He won bronze at the European Cadet Championships U18 in Porec in 2022 and silver in 2023 as well. He captured a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2023. He took a silver medal at the junior world championships in 2023 in Odivelas.
