Slovenian judoka Marusa Stangar took gold at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2018 and silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2019. Marusa became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2015. She took bronze at the World Junior Championships in 2017. Marusa won silver at the 2015 Junior Worlds in Abu Dhabi. Marusa took bronze at the World Cadets in 2013. She took bronze at the 2018 World Masters in Guangzhou. She was World Ranking leader U18, U21 and U23. She captured bronze at the European Games in Minsk. She bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2021.
