German judoka Niklas Bloechl took silver at the European Cup in Uster in 2018 and bronze in 2016. In Celje he took bronze in 2018. Bloechl was German cadet champion in 2011 and Junior champ in 2014. He won the European Cup for Juniors in 2014 in Wroclaw.
