Judoka from Japan Maeda Naeko took bronze at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016. In September 2016 she won the Taipei Open. She won bronze at the European Open in Oberwart in 2017 and she won gold at the Grand Prix in Hohhot in July 2017. She took silver at the European Cup for seniors in Celje in 2018.
