Kim Sung-Min captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2019. He won the Universiade in 2009 and in 2011 in Shenzhen in the open class. Kim won a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2011 in Paris. In 2015 Kim SungMin won the Grand Slam of Abu Dhabi. He won the Tokyo Grand Slam three times. In 2016 he won bronze at the Grand Prix in Düsseldorf. In 2017 he took bronze at the Grand Prix in Hohhot. He captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Antalya and Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi. He took a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2021
