John Lawrinson
Judoka John Lawrinson of Great Britain won gold at the British Open London in 1974 in the category U70kg. John still lives in his home town of Warrington achieved his 7th Dan. Lawrinson ran his own club "Warrington Samurai Judo Club" Volunteering to share his expertise knowledge talent and love for his Sport, right up to his 70s. Only over the last few years due to Parkinsons Disease has he reluctantly stopped going to sit at the side of the Mat still offering help and instruction.
