Judoka Peter Scharinger was triple Austrian champion U73kg. He was fifth at the European Championships in 2011 and won bronze at the European U23 Championships. He fought at World Championships and he won four World Cup medals including the Super World Cup in Rotterdam. He retired in 2015 and after his career he became coach at his club Mühlviertel and switched as national coach of Denmark in 2017.
