2021 is close to an end, the last month has entered and the IJF World Tour has seen its end at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi. What remains are the awards and of course there are many championships in each country as far as the pandemic allows and there are still some international training camps such as in Italy or Israel. It is also a time to look back.

Some athletes are already eagerly anticipating the year 2022, but we don't know what that will bring yet. When fans want to bet on the various judo events in 2022, you can use bet365 angebotscode 2022 and try to predict the main judo heroes in judo where the blockbuster will be the World Championships. This will be the main event to betting. The pandemic will teach us if the IJF Wortld Tour can proceed the way it's scheduled right now, although there were no cases in the last IJF events that should ban any judo event. The sport thus seems to be a clear victim of the pandemic when it is actually a means to help with the pandemic.

Yet we cannot be dissatisfied with the number of events. There were even eight Grand Slams this year compared to 2019, although the number of Grand Prixs has been drastically reduced, from ten to two, starting in Odivelas, close to Lisbon in January and in Zagreb that could take place, partly due to the good organization and daring of the Croatian Judo Federation. Portugal made a transition from European Open to Grand Prix and will have the premier of the season starting tyhe IJF World Tour.

Also for 2022 there are many Grand Slams on the program with a start in Paris, the tournament is back in February where it belongs. Then the Tour goes to Tel Aviv, where a training camp is currently taking place. Soon the traditional event organizers take place again such as Tbilisi in March and Antalya in April. Kazan wasn't a surprise in May either, but a Grand Slam back in Germany was a surprise with Düsseldorf as a loyal organizer of course, but now in June where the ISS will hopefully be filled with judo fans again. Budapest is always adapting and will host a Grand Slam in July 2022. Hungary has always been a loyal partner of the IJF and organized a great World Cup last year with beautiful winners and good emotion and space for an audience that sympathized with the Hungarian judoka, which always has a story to tell. It is the last Grand Slam in preparation for the world championships in Tashkent. Tashkent, who also organized the Sambo World Championships this year, is a well-known partner of the IJF. No Grand Slam this year in Tashkent but this blockbuster in August. The apotheosis of the year takes place in Uzbekistan.

The Tour returns to Abu Dhabi in October. Now reversed with Baku that is also always flexible and now opens the gates for the judokas in November. The last Grand Slam is traditional for Tokyo and we hope that the situation in Japan will improve.
