The Olympic Games are over and Italy gained 28 medals and eight gold medals. Fabio Basile was one of those gold medallists who surprised the nation. Basile has had a few rough days. After winning the gold medal he was torn apart by reactions, interviews and official and unofficial happenings. The time of life. What happened to him and Odette Giuffrida who won the silver?

Fabio Basile: Sincerely, I don't realise what's going on. Because in real life, I'm going to realise soon that my life has always been judo."

You had a special celebration for everyone?

"It's a thing I've done since I was a child, and I was thanking everyone who helped me out from the main coach to my team and everybody else."

Odette Giuffrida said after her silver medal: "It is a strange feeling. One part of me is very happy for this medal. I am just 21 years old and these are my first Olympic Games. But I can't say that I am fully happy. I wanted the gold medal."

You are young indeed, so what’s the next goal?

"There is too much work, so many things to improve when I get home."
