Gerbi highlights the Grand Prix of Astana

After Japanese Yuki Hashiguchi won the gold in Kazakhstan as the only athlete without any single point at the World Ranking List, a superb performance on the second day by the Israelian Yarden Gerbi.
Totally dominant in Astana, Gerbi also demonstrated in the final match against Anna Bernholm who she had already beaten once before. It was expected to see Gerbi to finish the match with Uchi-mata, the question was just "when". A well prepared attack with Seoi-nage just as a fint, immediatelly a moment later Gerbi launched a superb Uchi-mata and with great control she finished the match against Bernholm with ippon. Now we have the answer also on "when", exactly after 1:18minute of her final fight.
The earlier announced comeback of Leandro Guilheiro at the Grand Prix in Astana didn't go well. In the second round he was defeated by Russian Alan Khubetsov. One won one lost fight for Brazilian, not the best start after his long break and his knee injury.
