Paralympic judoka Christopher Skelley of Great Britain claimed the gold medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. In 2021 Skelley has been awarded an MBE for services to judo. He became 2017 European Champion. He claimed the gold at the IBSA Grand Prix in Baku in 2019. He clinched a silver medal at the IBSA Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2019. He took bronze at the IBSA European Chs in Lisbon in 2015. In 2015 he won bronze at the IBSA World Games in Seoul.In 2014 Skelley won the Scottish Open Championships. He took bronze at the IBSA Grand Prix in Nur-Sultan in 2022.
