Israeli judoka Maayan Greenberg took a bronze medal at the European Open in Belgrade in 2017. She captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Antalya in 2018. She won the Israeli senior title in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Shany Hershko was her personal coach since she started judo at 9 years old, and they are working together in the Israeli team as coaches.
