Chizuru Arai won the Olympic title at the 2020 Olympic Games, She won the world title in 2018 in Baku and in 2017 in Budapest as well as the first World mixed team title twice. She had won the World Team title with Japan in 2013. She was silver medallist of the World Juniors in 2013 and won in Dusseldorf in 2015, 2017 and 2020. In 2013 she had already won the Grand Slam of Tokyo and Grand Slam in Tyumen in 2016. In 2017 she won the Grand Slam in Paris. She took gold at the Grand Slam in Osaka in 2018 and Baku in 2019. She won the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2021 and took bronze in Kazan.
