Hungarian judoka Gabor Vér won his first World Cup medal in 2016 at the European Open in Sofia U90kg. He won bronze at the World Juniors in 2010, and European Cadet silver in 2008. Ver Gabor won bronze at the European Cup in Belgrade in 2015 and in 2012. In 2012 he became Hungarian champion U100kg. In 2016 he won the European Open in Oberwart.
