Judoka Shpati Zekaj of Kosovo won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships in 2017 in Kaunas. He won the European Cup U21 Sarajevo in 2018. He won gold at the Balkan Championships in Tirana in 2019. He claimed a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Leibnitz in 2019. He claimed a silver medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021. He claimed the gold medal at the Koroska Open in 2021. He took the gold medal at the Balkan Championships in Pazardzhik in 2022. He clinched a silver medal at the Asian Open in Kuwait in 2023.
