Germany replaces injured Vargas-Koch by Böhm

German women’s head coach Claudiu Pusa travels with confidence to Japan after a successful preparation with confidence. However he had to make once change in the team last weekend as Laura Vargas-Koch got injured again and tore her ACL. It was a is a shock for her but also all athletes in the team. New kid Alina Böhm will replace Vargas-Koch and try to give it a good shot in Tokyo. Read more

Continental golds. World gold. Olympic gold. The giant Czech was only 25 when he settled the question in the U100kg category. Three years later, he’s already European champion of the O100kg and highly motivated to keep climbing till the summits of those new mountains. North Korean team not able to attend World Championships

The team of North Korea won’t be a part of the World Championships in Tokyo. Last year North Korean was part of the bronze mixed team in a first unified team with five judoka from the South and one judoka from the North for the mixed team event. Read more
