Rafaela Silva stripped of her Panam Games medal

Brazilian Rafaela Silva was stripped of her Pan American Games gold medal on Wednesday after failing a doping test. Silva was the winner of the title of the U57kg category in Lima, the same category in which she triumphed at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016. She can still appeal the decision. Read more


Abrek Naguchev has great examples to succeed and to fail

Abrek Naguchev captured the first gold medal for Russia at the cadet world championships. Coached by 2012 Olympic champion Arsen Galstyan, Naguchev took the 15th world title for the Russians since the first edition in 2009. Among the winners Khasan Khalmurzaev, the only Olympic Champion in the world who started with a cadet world title. Igolnikov and Dolgova are the other big names, but it’s not a guaranty for Naguchev’s future. Read more


Keiji Tsujioka knows his examples with a cadet world title

The second day of the Cadet World Championships was the best day for Japan with two gold medals. In the boys lightweight U60kg category Japan has a reputation. Naohisa Takato won the gold in the inaugural edition in 2009 in Budapest. Yuma Oshima wo in 2011, Takumi Oshima in 2013 and Genki Koga in 2015. Today it was the day of Keiji Tsujioka. Read more

The Italian talents is trained by her father Raffaele, since the age of two years. Both went to Almaty with clear ideas, win and respect judo values. The second day of the Cadet World Championships learned us that the European athletes are strong in the category U48kg but today there was one factor throwing our trend away, Hikari Yoshioka of Japan.
