The list of men who will participate in the next world championships (October 6-13 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan) has been completed. Kenny Liveze who was crowned Junior World Champion U100kg in Guayaquil (Ecuador), joins the French team for his first participation in the senior world championships. He will find in this now complete selection another junior world medallist, his teammate Romain Valadier Picard.

At only 20 years old, the young Guadeloupean is now moving to the next level and joining his compatriot Teddy Riner, also from Guadeloupe, on the tatami mats of the world championships.

Trained at the Guadeloupe judo club Budokan, in Abymes, Kenny Liveze has already distinguished himself several times in international competitions in the U100 kg category. Crowned European champion and world champion cadets in 2019, he will now have to face big names in combat sports. In November 2021, the young judoka had to be hospitalized after having had a stroke in full competition, in Perpignan.
