Uzbek judoka Kamoliddin Rasulov dies at the age of 29

Uzbek judoka Kamoliddin Rasulov died after an incident. Rasulov was a national teammember of Uzbekistan and silver medalist of the 2019 Tashkent Grand Prix. He was ranked 34th in the IJF -81kg weight class published this week.
Kamoliddin Rasulov died in Tashkent after being stabbed during a conflict. Another athlete is suspected of the murder. He was attacked with a kitchen knife in different parts of his body. Kamoliddin was really very polite and humble. He was a shy young man. He had just turned 29 years. Kamoliddin also achieved positive results in wrestling and sambo. In 2012, he won the World Youth Sambo Championship. He also won a gold medal at the World Wrestling Championships.
Kamoliddin Rasulov was born on July 20, 1992 in the village of Muminabad, Shahrisabz district, Kashkadarya region, the homeland of wrestlers. Being a land of wrestlers, Kashkadarya has loved wrestling since childhood. Naturally, the family environment played a big role in this. Little Kamoliddin followed in his father's and brother's footsteps and fell in love with wrestling. He won his first sports medal at the Chirakchi tournament. Rasulov, who weighed in at -26 kg, climbed the podium for the first time. From an early age he envied famous wrestlers Bahrom Avazov, Farhod Turaev, Kamol Murodov. Inspired by our judokas such as Abdulla Tangriev and Rishod Sobirov. Ilhom Murodov, Asadullo Bozorov, learned the secrets of wrestling and sambo from the honored coach of Uzbekistan Ravshan Ahmadjanov.
