The 27th edition of the Olympic Training Centre in Mittersill is in full force. The Austrian village close to Salzburg is the traditionally host of the top judoka around the world for the opening of the season and a bit of snow is just pleasure.

The Training camp delivers great competition and most athletes have yet arrived in Austria due to the soft weather circumstances.

More than 1,000 Judoka from all continents have registered for the season preparation including many top athletes like Teddy Riner, Clarisse Agbegnenou and Daria Bilodid

The judo elite is preparing for the World Tour season starting with the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv 23-25 January in Israel. The European opening will be the European Open in Lisbon and Sofia 2-3 February. This weekend is in Doha the IJF Refereeing and coaching seminar.

With less than 200 days to go for the Olympic Games in Tokyo the heat is on Mittersill.
