Korean judoka Ji-Youn Kim won the Universiade in Shenzhen (Student World Championships) in 2011 in the open class. She collected 4 World Cup victories in Jeju (2), Ulaanbaatar and Taipei and won bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2013 and Grand Prix Düsseldorf. She won the Grand Prix in Samsun.
