Brazilian judoka Renan Torres captured a bronze medal at the 2018 Junior World Championships in the Bahamas and took silver in the mixed team event at the Junior worlds in Nassau. Renan Torres (BRA) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors U60kg in 2019. He won the Junior European Cup in Leibnitz in 2019. He took a silver medal at the Junior Pan American Championships in Cali in 2019.

For the second time in a row Austria didn’t take any medal at its own Junior European Cup in Leibnitz.
