Romanian judoka Mircea Croitoru won the European Cup in Bratislava in 2017. He took silver at the senior European Cup in Saarbrucken in 2016. He is multiple judo champion of Romania in various age categories since 2013. He competed at European and World Junior Championships. He was fifth at the European Juniors in 2015. He took a bronze medal at the European Open in Belgrade in 2017. He claimed a silver medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2019. He took silver at the European Open in Cluj.

Marko Bubanja back with gold for Austria

Marko Bubanja is happy to be back. After a short switch to Montenegro he came back last year in Austria and on Sunday he won his first ever World Cup event. In his weight category U90kg the 23-year old defeated Ourouzmag Magkeyev of France. Bubanja became Austrian champion U100kg but U90kg is his real weight category but there ‘s enough international competition. Read more

Stangar sisters both take gold at European Cup in Bratislava

The first international senior event after the World Championships was the European Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia. The event is a good preparation for the European U23 Championships in November in Montenegro. Also a few juniors captured the medals in Bratislava such as teens Marusa Stangar and Teresa Zenker.
