Croatian judoka Karla Prodan became World Cadet Champion in Sarajevo in 2015. She took an historic silver medal with the Croatian team. Prodan won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships U18 Sofia in 2015. In 2018 took a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Nassau in the Bahamas. She won a bronze medal at the EYOF in Tbilisi in 2015 U70kg. She won the European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2018 and bronze in 2019. She took bronze at the Grand Prix in Zagreb and Tashkent U78kg.

Austria’s Bernadette Graf captured the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Tashkent U78kg. It was her second victory in the IJF World Tour in her “new” weight class U78kg. In total it was her fifth Grand Prix gold medal. Graf wins a World Cup almost each year except last year. This time however she already won twice. Women's coach Patrick Rusch cannot complain about his successful start since the World Championships. Read more

At the seventh edition of the Grand Prix of Zagreb the home crowd cheered the whole day for its own athletes, but Karla Prodan stood out in her category U78kg. She coloured the day and took an unexpected bronze medal. Prodan gave back her smile to the crowd. Japanese Wada Rinoko defeated Junior European championships bronze medallist Karla Prodan (CRO) in the U78kg final to set Japan off for a treble on day four. Croatia’s 2015 Cadet World Championships winner was thrown with an o-soto-gari on two occasions as Rome European Open gold medallist Wada sealed gold with 25 seconds left on the clock. Read more

Juniors ad history to European Cup in Paks

The talents from the Ukraine were the best at the European Cup for Juniors in Paks. The annual judo tournament on the banks of the Danube river is since 2001 the place for Hungarian judo talent.
