German judoka Giovanna Scoccimarro became Junior World Champion in Zagreb in 2017. She became European Cadet Champion in 2014 in Athens and won the EYOF in 2013. She captured a silver medal at the 2017 European Championships in Warsaw. With the German Junior Team she won bronze at the World Mixed Teams in 2017 in Zagreb. She won the Euro Open Lisbon in 2018. She took bronze at the Grand Slam Düsseldorf in 2020. In 2019 she won the Grand Prix in Montreal and silver at the Grand Slam in Brasilia.
