Canadian judoka Jessica Klimkait captured gold at the Grand Slam in Osaka in 2018. Jessica won Grand Slam gold in Osaka in 2018 and in Düsseldorf in 2020. In 2013 she became World Cadet Champion U18 in 2013 in Miami. Jessica took 14 IJF World Tour medals including 4 victories. She took bronze at the 2018 and 2019 World Masters. Three times IJF World Tour gold medalist, Jessica Klimkait, is one of Canada's top prospects for the Tokyo Olympics. She is currently No. 2 in the Olympic qualifications ranking, so Jessica has obviously qualified. Canada, Australia and Poland withdraw from the Games in 2020

Canada, Australia and Poland will not send athletes to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo because of the risks associated with the coronavirus outbreak, the Olympic committees for both countries said in separate statements.
