Russian judoka Marina Bukreeva took the bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in Zagreb in 2017. She took a silver medal at the Junior European Championships in Maribor in 2017. She became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2014 in Athens With the Russian Junior Team she won bronze at the World Mixed Teams in 2017 in Zagreb. Marina Bukreeva (RUS) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets O70kg in 2014 and 2015. She clinched the gold medal at the European Cup in Orenburg in 2019.

Ten years history at the European Cup in Orenburg

As usual the Russian team dominated the European Cup in Orenburg. With ten gold medals and 32 medals in total. The Russians were followed by four other golden countries, Belarus, France, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. In total there were 14 medal winning nations. Four countries each captured three gold medals this weekend at the Junior European Championships in Maribor. Russia, however, was the best with nine medals in total. Russia strong at last day of European Cadet Championships

Russia, Germany, Ukraine and the Netherlands collected the last five gold medals as the European Cadet Championships in Athens, Greece, wrapped up Sunday in the Olympic Center of Ano Liossia with the men’s -81kg, -90kg and +90 kg as well as with the women’s -70kg and +70 kg. Read more

Golden Marina Bukreeva enjoys European Championships

Second-seeded Marina Bukreeva (RUS) celebrated the victory in the +70kg over Polish Anita Formela at the Cadet European Championships. Formela collected three shidos in the first two minutes of the final, then Bukreeva received two penalties before she threw her opponent to get a waza-ari. Bukreeva kept Formela down on the mat and the Polish competitor touched out. Read more
