Portuguese judoka Anri Egutidze won the European Open in Madrid in 2016. Originally from Georgia he won European Cups for Juniors. He was Portuguese Junior and U23 champion. He won silver at the Junior European Championships in Malaga in 2016. He took a silver medal at the Grand Prix Tbilisi in 2018 and bronze in Zagreb. Anri won the Champions League with Sporting Clube Portugal Lisbon in 2018. He claimed bronze at the Grand Slam in Brasilia in 2019.
