Dutch judoka Jorien Visser won a silver at the World Cadet Champion in 2015 in Sarajevo. She won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships U18 Sofia in 2015. Visser won national titles U15, U18 and U21. With the Dutch team she won silver at the World Junior Mixed Team Championships in Zagreb in 2017. She took silver at the International Belgian adidas Judo Open Herstal in 2020. She took bronze at the European Open in Warsaw in 2020.

Brazilian juniors win ten gold medals at European Cup Coimbra

At the first European Cup of the season the Brazilian juniors impressed with ten gold medals in Coimbra. The Portuguese judo city was traditionally the first host of this season and the Portuguese fans saw David Reis winning gold on Saturday and Jaime Santos on Sunday. Read more

Russian cadets win 6 gold medals at European Cup Berlin

The Russian cadets are still a great hope in judo. Six medals was the result of this weekend’s campaign in Berlin. At the European Cup for Cadets Russia won 18 medals. Three Japanese girls took three gold medals while Georgia won two gold but lost four finals and achieved a total of twelve medals. Read more

Dutch talents rule at European Cup in Coimbra

When you think it can’t be better compared to last year, the Dutch team now captures five gold medals in one day, instead of two. The Dutch dominated once again the Junior European Cup in Coimbra. Eight medals, five gold, one silver in a Dutch final and two bronze is the result of a great day in Portugal. Uzbekistan welcomes first Cadet World Champion

At the World Cadet Championships in Sarajevo Uzbekistan celebrates its first Cadet World Champion. Diyora Keldiyorova took the title U48kg in the Bosnian capital. In the country of double senior world champion Rishod Sobirov and World Open Champion Abdullo Tangriev little Keldiyorova defeated Dutch Jorien Visser. Read more
