He took bronze at the Euro Open in Glasgow. He won bronze at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg. He took silver at the European Open in Sofia and gold at the European Open in Madrid. He took a bronze medal in 2018 in Saarbrücken. French champion U73kg in 2016. He took bronze at the European Open in Rome in 2019.

The Russian team has won two gold medals at the first day of the European Open in Sofia. The day started though with golf for Azerbaijan. Tofig Mammadov took gold U60kg in his final against Sakhavat Gadzhiev. Mammadov prevent the Russian from taking all gold medals. In a field of 23 man the 19-year old Azeri won his first World Cup. At the European Open this weekend in Sofia The Canadian and French team have the best papers to take the titles. The Canadians sent a team with some of the top athletes. Three Canadians are seeded first such as the competitive category U81kg with Etienne Briand who’s ranked 13th in the World. Also Antoine Valois-Fortier is listed high and will be protected, but they may see each-other in the semi finals. Read more
