Italian judoka Melora Rosetta won bronze at the European U23 Championships in 2015 in Bratislava. In 2014 she won European bronze with the Italian Junior team. In 2010 she started with bronze at the European Cadet Championships. Rosetta won Italian Cadet and Junior titles. She won bronze at the 2017 African Open in Casablanca. She took a bronze medal at the European Cup in Saarbrücken in 2017. Rosetta took a silver medal at the European Open in Madrid in 2018.

Spain cherishes two gold medals for Sherazadishvili and Rodrigues

For the first time since five years Spain celebrated two gold medals in one day at its own European Open in Madrid. Gold for Nikoloz Sherazadishvili U90kg and Sara Rodriguez U70kg brought Spain the third place in the medal table by countries. Italian team superior at European Cup in Uster-Zurich

The Italian team dominated the European Cup for Seniors in Uster. With five titles in the women’s division and eight total gold medals the Italians topped the medal tally in Switzerland. Unfortunately, the field was extremely weak and this edition had record low participation numbers. The Italians had by far the biggest team in Switzerland (51 judoka), a stake of 22% of all participants, and 27% of the medals, and 50% of all gold medals. Read more

Georgia remains dominant at European Cup Juniors 6th Iliadis Cup

Last year Georgia was the nation that swept the medals in the European Cup of Thessaloniki, the former Iliadis Cup, whose curtain dropped today in Alexander's Melathron of Thessaloniki. The juniors of Georgia collected 12 medals, namely five gold , two silver and five bronze medals, leaving second place to Germany with two gold, four silver and two bronze medals. Read more
