World Champ Tushishvili makes golden comeback

Guram Tushishvili is back after a suspension of two months by the IJF after competiting at a non-Judo official event. More importantly, he captured the gold medal at the European Open in Cluj, Romania. In the heavyweight final he defeated home fighter Mircea Croitoru. He wasn’t the only Georgia with gold. German juniors continue medal hunger in Kaunas with 8 titles

Also at the second of the Junior European Cup in Kaunas, the German team kept the pace of winning. In total the German team captured eight titles including those five on Sunday. Both men and women won the medal table with both four gold medals. The Netherlands finished second with three gold medals and 15 medals in total, even more than the efficient Germans. Read more

Olympic hopes fighting in Bielsko Biala this weekend

The youngest elite of Europe will touch the city of Bielsko Biala this weekend for the European Cup. The best cadets from Europe, but also outside Europe will try to reach the podium. Also the Japanese team will have a strong team for the European Cup in Poland. Japanese coaches Tatsuya Deguchi and Hidekazu Shoda selected a few young talents.
