Mongolian judoka Otgonbaatar Lkhagvasuren won bronze at the World Championships in Baku in 2018. He won his first Grand Prix in 2015 in Mongolia. In Abu Dhabi the gold medal followed at the Grand Slam. In 2015 he won bronze at the GP Düsseldorf. He finished fifth at the Olympic Games in Rio. He captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Antalya in 2018. Silver at the 2018 IJF World Masters in Guangzhou. He clinched a bronze medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2019.
