Korean judoka Mi-Ri Kim won a few World Cups medals starting in 2011 in Jeju, followed with medals in Sofia, Ulaanbaatar and Taipei. She won the World Cup in Jeju in 2012. She took bronze at Asian Championships in 2012 in Tashkent. She took bronze at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2016.
