Dutch Georgian judoka Tornike Tsjakadoea finished fifth at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. He won the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Cancun in 2018. He won a bronze medal at the World Cadet Championships in 2013. In 2015 he won European U23 bronze in Bratislava, aged 19. In 2016 and 2017 he won the Dutch senior title. Tornike captured silver at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv in 2019 and bronze in Düsseldorf and Budapest. He took bronze at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Astana in 2023. He won bronze at the Grand Prix Upper Austria in 2024
