Hungarian judoka Szabina Gercsak is 2015 World Junior and European Junior Champion in 2014 and 2015 and U23. She claimed the Youth Olympic Games in 2014. In 2013 she was World Cadet Champion U18 and European Cadet Champion. Gercsak successfully stepped up to U70 in 2015 and won bronze in Havana. She captured bronze at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2017. She claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2018. She captured a bronze medal at the European Cup in Bratislava in 2018.

The Belgian world champ is one of the favourites in the category U81kg and the highest seed.
