She took bronze at the Sambo World Champion in Bucharest in 2018. She won the gold medal at the Asian Open in Hong Kong in 2019. She took silver at the IJF World Masters in 2019 in Qingdao. Distria Krasniqi retains Masters crown for Kosovo

Defending champion Distria Krasniqi of Kosovo defeated world number 33 of Mongolia Ganbaatar Narantsetseg to keep the U48kg Masters title in Kosovo. Krasniqi launched the Mongolian outsider on the edge of the area after Masters debutant Ganbaatar was on the receiving end of a utsuri-goshi for a waza-ari score in the second minute of golden score as Kosovo struck first in Qingdao. Koreans dominate Asian Open in Hong Kong with seven gold

Korea was the best nation at the Asian Open in Hong Kong of this weekend. Korea captured seven gold medals. Mongolia and Chinese Taipei both took two gold medals. Korea claimed three of the four men’s titles on Sunday. On Saturday though it was Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia that won gold. Interesting was that U73kg category with winner Makhmadbek Makhmadbekov. Read more

Endo Hiromi of Japan had a day to remember at U48kg as the two-time Asian Championships winner won all four of her contests at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg. Former World Judo Masters winner Endo, 25, has world champion Tonaki Funa and Olympic bronze medallist Kondo Ami ahead of her in the Japanese pecking order which meant that today was a must-win.
