France and The Netherlands topped the medal table at the European Open in Glasgow. Both nations won two gold medals . Great Britain, Switzerland and Slovenia have one champion in Glasgow. The host nation captured 8 medals in total. Britain's Owen Livesey topped the podium in a strong U81kg category at the Glasgow European Judo Open. France topped the medal table with a total of five medals including two golds. Hosts Great Britain took eight medals with the home crowd enjoying the exciting judo on show at the Emirates Arena. Two gold medals for Bosnia at home European Cup

Home favourite Aleksandra Samardžic won the gold medal at the European Cup in Sarajevo, Larisa Ceric added another gold for the home nation. France was the winning country though, they collected five gold medals and 8 medals in total. Three nations won two gold medals and all lost one final: Great Britain, Hungary and host nation Bosnia-Herzegovina. Especially for the host this was a marvelous result. Read more
