Dutch judoka Roy Meyer captured World bronze in 2019 in Tokyo. He took gold at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017 and the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2015 as biggest victories. He was European Junior Champion in 2010 and U23 Champion in 2012. He took bronze at the European Championships in Warsaw in 2017. Roy won bronze at the Paris Grand Slam in 2015 and 2016 and IJF Masters in 2015. Meyer won 23 World Cup medals. He clinched the gold at the Grand Prix in Antalya and Grand Slam of Abu Dhabi in 2019. He secured a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Ulaanbaatar in 2022 and GS in Antalya in 2023.
