He won 8 Military World titles and the Veteran World title in 2015. He was coached by Chris de Korte. President of the Survival Federation. Huizinga was inducted into the IJF Hall of Fame in 2018. He is ambassador of the IJF Academy. He was Holland’s Chef de Mission for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
