Polish judoka Karolina Pienkowska took silver at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2018. also she won silver at the European Open in Lisbon and gold at the European Open in Warsaw. She won the European U23 title in 2015. She took gold at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2016. Pienkowska won two bronze European Junior medals, 2010 U48kg and in 2012 in Porec U52kg. She is multiple champion of Poland in all ages. Grand Prix Budapest bronze in 2016.

At the Grand Slam of Düsseldorf Nekoda Smythe-Davis won the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf after her final U57kg.
