Israelian lightweight Shira Rishony finished fifth at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She opened 2019 with a victory at the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. She won the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2013 and European Open in Tallinn in 2014. In 2015 she won bronze at the Grand Slam of Paris and in 2016 she opened with silver in Havana. She won a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2017. She clinched a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Hohhot and Montreal in 2019. She claimed bronze at the Grand Slam in Brasilia in 2019. She bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2021.
