Dutch judoka Jelle Snippe captured bronze at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017. Jelle took bronze at the European U23 Championship in 2019 in Izhevsk. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021. He claimed the Dutch senior titles in 2021 and 2022 in Almere. He took gold at the European Open in Madrid in 2022. Snippe finished with silver at the Grand Slam in Budapest in 2022 and lost to Teddy Riner. He won the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2023. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Linz in 2023.
