Judoka Johanna Mueller won the World Cup Tallinn U57kg in 2012 among eight World Cup medals U57kg. She won the German title in 2012. Mueller was fifth at the 2009 World Junior Championships. She won European Cups in Prague, Boras and Malaga and the European Club title with JV Speyer in 2014. In 2016 she took bronze at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2016. She took bronze at the European Cup for seniors in Celje in 2018. She took bronze at the European Cup in Uster in 2019.

Johanna Mueller out for a year in revolutionary period

German judoka Johanna Mueller is out of competition for a year. The 27-year old bronze medallist of the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi tore her outer meniscus and will need an operation, which is at the same time a good occassion to fix her cruciate ligament. Read more

Tihea Topolovec captures second European Cup victory

At the first day of the European Cup in Dubrovnik Germany won two gold medals. The other five gold medals were divided among five nations including host Croatia. 17-year old Tihea Topolovec captured a gold medal in the category U52kg against Nieke Nordmeyer (GER). It was her second victory in a row as 17-year old Croatian also took the victory in Sarajevo two weeks ago. Read more
