Korean judoka Mi-Jung Kim was the 1992 Olympic Champion of Barcelona. The year before the Olympic she became World Champion in Barcelona as well. In 1998 she won her first Olympic medal. In Seoul she lost the final U73kg against Ingrid Berghmans. Later she became international referee and officiated an Olympic final in 2004. She won the Tournoi de Paris in 1992. She triumped at the German Open World Masters in 1991 and 1992.
