Spanish judoka Joaquin Ruíz was 1991 World Championships finallist in Barcelona. Ruiz won the European title in 1988 in Pamplona and took three medals in total. He claimed 9 Spanish titles, all U71kg. He won international events such in as Budapest and Havana. Won the World title as coach of Nikoloz Sherazadishvili in 2018. Nickname: “Quino”
