Kayra Sayit is European Champion in 2021 and 2016. She was born in France as Ketty Mathe but married in Türkiye in February in 2015 and changed to Kayra Sayit. She won bronze at the World Championships in Tokyo in 2019 and Baku in 2018. She won the Grand Prix of Budapest and Tbilisi. Kayra won gold at the Grand Prix in Marrakech in 2019. She won 23 World Cup medals. She took gold at the Grand Slam in Budapest in 2020. She took bronze at the IJF Judo Masters in Doha in 2021. She finished fifth at the Tokyo2020 Games and fifth in Rio2016. She won the gold at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2023.
